The Mid-Atlantic ADA Center provides information, guidance, and training on the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), tailored to meet the needs of businesses, government entities, organizations, and individuals in the Mid-Atlantic Region (DC, DE, MD, PA, VA, and WV). We also support a number of Resource Networks to distribute materials and deliver training programs throughout the region.
If you are outside of the Mid-Atlantic area, please visit our ADA National Network (ADANN) to locate your regional center. The ADANN includes ten regional centers located throughout the United States.
The ADA Centers are not enforcement or advocacy agencies, but helpful sources of information and personalized guidance on the requirements of the ADA.
The Mid-Atlantic ADA Center continues to operate during the current public health emergency. Find more information and resources on coronavirus disease (COVID-19) for individuals with disabilities and older adults, health care providers, educators, employers, businesses, and others.
Some of the latest updates include the CDC's "easy to read" materials designed for people with intellectual or developmental disabilities, guidance for clinics and health care providers on Vaccinating Older Adults and People with Disabilities, and guidance on ensuring Disability Access in Vaccine Distribution from the Office for Civil Rights in the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services.
