Ann Deschamps
Ann Deschamps is the Director of the Center. She oversees all Center services and activities, and coordinates research projects. She also manages the ADA Trainer Leadership Network, which works to expand ADA training opportunities in local communities.
Nancy Horton
Nancy Horton is the Associate Director. She writes articles and develops training materials and other content on all aspects of the ADA. She also maintains the Center’s websites. Nancy has been working in the disability field for more than thirty years. Her experience includes conducting site accessibility surveys and architectural plans reviews, as well as training on employment issues, accessible design, and effective communication requirements.
Michelle Cook
Michelle Cook is the Technical Assistance and Content Specialist for the Center, working on training outreach and social media, and providing technical assistance. Michelle comes to the Center with years of experience as a leader in the accessibility, disability, and inclusion fields, including in her previous roles as an Accessibility Specialist at the National Center on Accessibility and Accessibility Program Manager at the Eppley Institute for Parks and Public Lands.
Michelle holds a Bachelor of Science in Health and Physical Education from West Chester University of Pennsylvania and a Master of Science in Recreation Therapy from Indiana University.
Maynor Guillen
Maynor Guillen is the E-Learning and Multimedia Producer for the Center. He manages the technical aspects of online learning, along with the production of webinars, podcasts, public service announcements, virtual events, and is involved in other projects. Prior to joining the Center, Maynor was the Assistive Technology Specialist for the City of Alexandria’s One-Stop Center, where he provided employment services, training, and information on reasonable accommodations.
Carleen Crespo
Carleen Crespo is the ADA Education and Networks Specialist at the Center, where she supports a wide variety of training and outreach activities. She has a BA in English, and her previous experiences include working as an editor, acting as an event coordinator for a major bookstore, and serving as a Church Parish Administrator. Her many interests include music, theater, alternative medicine, and cooking for her family.
