The Employment Jumble: Puzzling Over the ADA and Other Laws (10-24-23)

This session presents a brief overview of Title I of the ADA and other civil rights laws designed to protect the rights of workers who may experience discrimination based on disability and/or other factors, such as age, race, gender, pregnancy, and more. We’ll also outline employment-related laws and programs that aim to improve work-life balance and strengthen America’s workforce through better education and supports for workers who face significant barriers to employment and economic self-sufficiency.
