The Federal Communications Commission (FCC) enforces these regulations and offers technical assistance to the public. The FCC also enforces provisions of the Telecommunications Act which address the accessibility of telecommunications equipment and services, as well as television programming.
The Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) enforces the employment provisions of the ADA and offers technical assistance on employment discrimination. The ADA covers private employers with 15 or more employees, as well as state and local government agencies regardless of how many employees they have. Covered employers may not discriminate against qualified individuals with disabilities in any aspect of the employment process.
