Dependable Health Services Inc., a health care staffing agency, will pay $38,000 and provide other relief to settle a disability discrimination lawsuit brought by the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC). The agency alleged the company discriminated against a phlebotomist who worked at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center in Bethesda, Maryland. The employee requested a reasonable accommodation for her disability, but was terminated.
