Hospitality Initiative

Hospitality InitiativeThe Mid-Atlantic ADA Center, together with the ADA National Network of regional ADA Centers, launched an initiative to promote accessibility and opportunity for people with disabilities within the hospitality industry. This project offers targeted materials and resources. Facility Access Checklists and Publications

Materials from Blue Path and the Department of Justice provide guidance on construction and alteration projects, as well as assessments of existing facilities.

U.S. Department of Justice Publications and Resources

DOJ offers a comprehensive web course for businesses, and provides guidance on service animals, accessible customer service practices, communicating with people who are deaf or hard of hearing and serving individuals who are blind or have low vision in places of lodging. This page also features a collection of settlement agreements and consent decrees that are instructive for hospitality industry businesses.
